Ukrainian Egg Decorating Workshop, Tuesday, March 14, 9:30-3:30 p.m.

Learn the ancient art of decorating eggs in the Ukrainian tradition!  This workshop will introduce this art, with each student creating beautifully decorated egg(s) (Pysanky) using a wax-relief dye method of color application.  Learn about the colors, symbols, traditions and folklore surrounding this ancient craft form.  This hands-on workshop is designed for adult students with an interest in detailed crafts. Cost of pysanky-specific tools are covered, an additional supply list will be sent.
