Recycled Art – Entry forms are now available for youth ages K-12 who wish to participate in our 25th Annual Recycled Art Contest/Exhibit.  Students are welcome to work with their teachers at school, with their parents/guardians at home and as a project with the scout or other youth clubs.  Home schooled students are welcome to enter with parents/guardians as the contact.   Prizes are awarded.

Things to think about:

  • Art is not required to be made in a classroom.
  • Art can be made at home.
  • We encourage parents to create with their children when and where applicable.

Drop off dates:   March 29th & 30th 9am-5pm

Exhibit Opening:   April 2nd 5-7:30pm – 1st Friday (w/ virtual component)

Awards Ceremony:   THURS April 22nd  6pm   – NOTE this is a change from prior years from a Saturday to a Thursday.

Integration and Transformation How are the recyclable items incorporated into the project to transform them into a piece of art?

 

Creativity, Individuality, Originality, Uniqueness How does the piece of work reflect the theme of using recyclable materials to produce artwork that is unique? 

 

Presentation, Looks   Was the participant able to pull the materials together to create a neat, clearly formed piece of art?
