Lisa Cadigan assumed the role of Executive Director for the Adams County Arts Council in May 2022. She has been involved with ACAC in a variety of capacities since 2013, including serving a term on the Board of Directors, chairing a marketing and development committee, volunteering for various events and fundraisers, teaching summer camps, and bringing the Music Together® curriculum to the AEC as an artist-in-residence. She joined the staff in 2020 and served as Director of Outreach and Community Resources. A theatre artist since she was a child, Lisa has a M.A. in Theatre from Indiana University and a B.A. in Theatre and Communications from James Madison University. She has served as an adjunct instructor in Theatre for Gettysburg College and Penn State-Harrisburg, and spent 20 years working as a freelance marketing consultant. Her graphic design and grant writing skills enhance her leadership role at ACAC. She lives in Gettysburg with her husband John and their two children, Dennis and Ellen. One of Lisa’s favorite things to do is sing with her friends as part of jazz ensemble, Pomona’s Trio.
